That super-storm Sandy kicked me into darkness for 8 days total; lost everything in the 'fridge and freezer, but most everything else is okay. My 80 y/o Pop had his 3rd and most extreme operation in 5 weeks last night... really sucks.

Thanks man! That means a lot to me. That suck about what happened to you with Storm Sandy. And I hope your Pop is all right. Mean you have been going through a lot.
They have a phrase for those 'red-letter' dates in someone's life... they say 'The balloon's gone up', and there's nothing you can do about it, except to change yourself. Heh, and for my Pop's 4th operation, they sawed his leg off :( His prognosis is good but... so much torture!
I hope your troubles have been resolved, or at least, more tolerable :)
